Parents and Prams: My Story Scrapbook

Parents and Prams is a free, fun activity held once a month at Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland. Parents and Prams offers carers and their young children an opportunity to explore the latest exhibitions, socialise and get crafty.

My Story Scrapbook is a playful, sensory art experience for little artists aged zero to five and their caregivers, inspired by Visualising the Written Word by Redland Yurara Art Society Inc. 

Children will receive their own scrapbook and explore how marks, lines, symbols, textures and patterns can communicate ideas and tell stories. Using crayons, markers, stickers, stamps, washi tape and layering methods, they will experiment with creative self-expression while developing fine motor skills and confidence. Each page becomes a unique reflection of their imagination and a special keepsake to take home.

Prams and baby carriers welcome and baby change facilities available. Sessions are held three times throughout the day on a Wednesday each month.

Please note that Redland Art Gallery staff are not responsible for supervision, parents and carers must remain with children while participating.
