Art Jam at Redland Coast Art Society is one of the great perks of being a member, but visitors are always welcome. Participants can bring whatever they're working on — painting, drawing, journalling, collage, mixed media, or that half-finished masterpiece quietly judging from the corner — and create in good company. There is no formal lesson and no pressure. Just a relaxed, welcoming space filled with fellow art lovers, conversation, inspiration and the simple pleasure of making time for creativity. Tutors are usually around during the day, so if support is desired, encouragement or another pair of eyes on work is often close at hand. Art Jam is held at the Redland Coast Art Society Gallery in Capalaba on the Second and Fourth Sunday of the month.
