Quandamooka Oyster Farm Tours on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) offers a hands-on oyster farming experience in the waters of Moreton Bay. Visitors walk across the mudflats at low tide to working oyster farms and learn how oysters are grown, cared for and harvested in their natural environment.

Led by Quandamooka guides, the experience provides insight into aquaculture, marine ecosystems and the important role oysters play in the health of Moreton Bay. Guests can see modern oyster farming systems in action and learn about the journey of an oyster from spat through to harvest.

As a First Nations-led oyster farm tour, the experience is grounded in connection to Country and shares Quandamooka culture, knowledge of Sea Country and the long history of oysters and oyster reefs throughout the region.

Small group sizes create a personal and immersive experience, combining culture, education and hands-on interaction with a working oyster farm.

Guests finish the experience enjoying fresh Quandamooka rock oysters On Country, alongside the waters where they're grown.
