Macleay Island Arts Complex (MIAC) is a vibrant community arts destination on the waterfront at Macleay Island, in the Southern Moreton Bay Islands. Housed in a striking purpose-built facility overlooking Moreton Bay, MIAC brings together exhibition spaces, working studios and opportunities to experience and participate in the arts. Visitors can explore exhibitions in the Sandpiper Gallery, showcasing local and community artists, and Gallery Two, presenting curated exhibitions and works by emerging and established artists. The complex is also home to the Fired Earth Studio, where visitors can discover the art of pottery and participate in workshops and creative activities. The Artspace provides a studio for painting, drawing and other creative pursuits, with a changing program of exhibitions, workshops, classes and community arts activities throughout the year. MIAC is more than a gallery — it is a place to discover art, meet artists, learn something new and connect with the creative community of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands. Macleay Island is accessible by regular ferry services from Redland Bay, with a MIAC shuttle available to collect visitors from the ferry terminal. Admission is free.
