Gindabara is a  tranquil, one-acre hideaway on the beautiful Coochiemudlo Island, and perfect for family gatherings, small weddings, workshops, retreats and team building exercises. 

Enjoy the relaxed island lifestyle of sandy beaches, bush walks including the Melaleuca Wetlands, boating, fishing and abundant birdlife as you unwind away from the hustle, bustle and grind of everyday life. 

Meaning 'place of laughter' in the local Indigenous language, Gindabara can sleep up to 14 people in  four comfortable cottages with the option, on application, to accommodate more. 

Each cottage is equipped with either a kitchen or kitchenette, and a communal kitchen offers opportunities for guests to prepare meals together. 

The property also has a games / multipurpose hall  a communal laundry, external clothes line, spacious, well-maintained grounds, suitable for family cricket, with outdoor seating and a fire pit.

For that special gathering where extra space in a quiet environment is required, Gindabara provides a welcoming base and a multitude of relaxing, island adventures to explore. 

While the property is self-catered, the hosts can assist with suggestions for local catering services if required.
